MAF screen....necessary?

anyone tamper with the screen on there intake? if so what kind of results? bad or good any feedback woudl be nice.

It made absolutely no difference at all. I got an extra MAF from a junkyard a while back and pulled the screens on it.. it didn't do a durn thing to power or responsiveness.
