i have a 94 nissan maxima with 126,000 miles on it, what is the deal with the power switch?, and i feel that the car starts off slow some times so i be concerned about my transmission? if any one knows please let me know thanks

the power switch is basically controling at what point your transmission shifts.....if its on "C" its oging to shift sooner thus better gas milage but slower acceleration, a little smoother, putting it on "P" will increse shift points and improve acceleration. leaving it in the middle makes the computer decide for itself which position better suits current driving conditions
