How do you remove the auto shift ****?

Just ordered a razo auto shift **** and I was wondering if any of you guys knew how to remove the stock auto shift ****. I've taken out the two screws, but it seems to be catching on something and it is not sliding out. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks,
David C.

take off the square plastic console piece around the shifter (tuck a flathead in there and pry it up)

then unscrew the 4 screws holding the whole unit down (PRND21 piece) and pull it out

then unplug the O/D wire and any other ish (dont remember exactly what) that keeps the stock shifter handle from coming off

or you can just remove the screws off the shifter itself rather than removing the whole assembly...

either or will work

Do you have to remove the 4 screws from the PRND21 plastic piece or can you just remove the two screws from the shifter. I have removed both screws from the shifter but it does not seem to want to pull up all the way.

Let me know...

i'm pretty sure i just removed those 2 screws and that was it. then i was able to get enough slack to unplug the OD. It's late here so i can't check but in the morning i'll take a look and see if there was anything else i'm not thinking of
