foglights on a gxe

Is the wiring already there in a gxe, or just the relay? Thanks.

all the wiring was there on my 92GXE. I put a switch in hooked up the lights added the relay and fuse then was good to go.

Where was the wiring? Also where on the dash did you put the switch?

I put a factory switch in the factory hole plugging up the factory wires.

To the left of the steering wheel there is a space that is filled with a blank plastic piece. That piece comes out and you can put the factory switch in (get at a junk yard or something). The wires for the fog light switch was behind the dash around the area that the switch is...its probably taped up back there somewhere.

The plugs for the fogs themselves are taped to the wires going to the corner lights. Take your splash shield off and you will see them.

Its all plug and play IF you use factory lights and switch.

Of course you can put aftermarket lights on too with or without using the factory wires.

My Foglamp Install Write-Up

Read this page. Hopefully it will help point you in the right direction. It is a write up I did for installing aftermarket fogs into the stock location on a GXE, including using the stock switch and relay, but may also answer some of your other questions.
