Which OIL filter to use?

Which OIL filter to use?
Hi fellas, I did know that Nissan changed their oil filters. I have been using the the light blue filters on my '90 GXE for about 2 years now. Are these filter infierior and why? Can someone recomend me a decent filter with the spring valve? Maybe AC Delco?
