new engine
new engine
hey peeps, i finally got my car back today from my local shop and my car runs awesome!! i just go a new engine put in my max. its still the VG but it only has 69,000 miles on it can you believe that?? im gonna let my engine wear in some more for like 1000 miles more and then i'll open the car up some. how much horses does the VG has?? and how much would it have like an estimate of?? cuz i got an intake just filter for now, and dual exhaust. what is a b-pipe and what does it do?? is better if u have a hi-flow cat or have it cut off?? whats the difference and which is better?? sorry if im asking to many questions i just wanna know whats best for our cars so i wont mess mines up. thanx.
vg engine has 160 horse and 180 torque
ve engine is better and thats why its not really worth it to add too much performance junk to the car, it will only help moderately.
b pipe just leads to the dual exhaust. it would be a y pipe if it was single.
cutting the cat off is a bad idea if you want it to pass inspections. good luck.

okay, i think somebody is confused about what a b-pipe is. the b-pipe is after the catalytic converter the y-pipe is before it. it is illegal to not have a catalytic convereter, but if you know someone that will pass you on inspection then have fun and more power to you. i personally would rather have a high flow cat and be legal than have no cat and be illegal. i have been told it is better to not have a cat but have never seen a dyno comparison.
herrmaxima was right about everything but the b-pipe part.
