Won't start after VTC grounding
Finally got tired of the ticking, so I did an oil change and decided to ground the VTCs. Ran the wire from the red vtc wire to a grounding
location and the car won't start. Took the wire off and still won't start. I can hear the relays in the fuse bos opening but the car will not turn over. Any ideas?

Hopefully you just blew a fuse. Check all the fuses and then if it starts ground the correct wire.
The red wire is the power wire so like I said hopefully its just a fuse but if its not you could have other problems in the wiring because you are never suppose to short a power wire.
good luck
oh and here is Craigs site to help you with the re wire

Thanks guys it was the eng con fuse that was blown. Note to self, get sleep first before reading(or trying to) read directions. The car sounds a heck of alot better.
