I thought the wires were SUPPOSED to be in the trunk, wired to one of the tail lights, and not on the receiver hitch....

On cars, the wires are run from the trunk UNLESS the customer specifies that he or she would like the wires to be run to the reciever hitch. Also, did you tell them that you wanted the drawbar and the ball? I think the drawbars at my place are like 25 and the ***** are 5-10. So it shouldn't be 50.

I work at Uhaul. So in a nutshell, you suck

haha...yeah i do suck...i talked to the guy at u-haul and he said its better to keep the wires in the trunk...so thats cool..and its my trailer that caused my brake lights not to work...there is bare wire and it blew the fuse...and my mom ordered everything for the hitch cause i work everyday...so she probly didnt order the drawbar and the ball...so i went to walmart to get it...oh well...it works so its all good now

how much does it cost to just get a hitch installed, without any wiring or ball? I'm thinking for like hooking up a hitch-mount bike rike... I know they have ones that hookup to the trunk, but then you have to remove the bikes anytime you want something from the trunk.
