grey lock control box removal

how do you remove the grey box that ticks when your locks are broken. I know its located under the steering wheel, i have the panel off, but how is it mounted on that metal bar thing?

it's sort of clipped on there. it's actually pretty hard to remove, easier thing to do is remove both screws that are holding the metal part on. you'll have to disconnect that relay that's back to the right side. the bracket, timer, and relay will come out as one piece, and you can take the timer box off more easily once they're out.
