The reason I ask is because when I got the e36's I had to buy the harnesses, so It hurts to buy another unless I really need to. I'm on a seeking budget/mod fancy. LOL

Well, I've got my E36's in and I'm just waiting for my harness to come in from audiodynamics. So, only my drivers side works, but it looks good. I still have to do a little adjusting to get the lights to fit nice, I want them to look as flush as possible, which is really hard considering the shape.
Oh and Mike you were right the silerstars I have are only 51 watts( I believe) I have a pair of silverstar 9005 and 9006. But I also have another brand of 9005 (which are in the headlights now) that are 12v 80w blues. They say HB4 on them, is that a brand?? Anywayz, I'm not sure if I should run them or the silverstars, I guess I will just have to play with them when I get the both working, to find out.
I'll post pics, when I get my car washed.

Are the silverstars that much better? I just figured the Blue ones would be brighter because of the higher wattage. Plus, the blue ones do make my foglights look awkward, because of the difference in color.

I have 80W blue bulbs in my car and 100W high beams(also blue bulbs) I have these because they were given to me and I dont want to pay $100 for a set of silverstars but yes the silverstars are 10 times better than the blue bulbs. The blue bulbs are just that blue...blue light isnt the best for illumination of the road. The high beams are another story though. The 100W high beams are extreemly bright. My wifes car has stock lights 9004 and they are brighter with their silverstars than the 80W 9006 blue bulbs in my car.
