Bose Cd/cs Help!!!!!

I have a 92 Maxima, and I just bought a Bose CD/Cassette Player. On the CD Player itself says manufactured January 1995. I ordered wire harnesses for it, I ordered 2 of them WH-60 (87-94) and WH-61 (87-94) and they wont fit? I didnt really pay any attention until I just figured that you were supposed to use the wires according to the year of the car.

I checked the site where I got the harnesses from and seen that they had 95 and newer harnesses and I was wondering if I could hook up these 2 harnesses in my 92 ?

A friend posted not too long ago that he put a Bose CD/Cassette from a 97 Maxima in his 92 So I dont see why this wouldnt work.

Im not a pro at car audio stuff I was just wondering what I should do. Im probably gonna take it to my local Nissan Dealer where we bought the car new and have them do it, hopefully this will work I just paid $300 for the CD Player.

Please Email me or reply ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!

do a search because I have posted this 1 million times. This can be done but you cant do it with 2 wiring harnesses like you think. You need a female pre 95 harness (you have) and you need a male 95 up harness (get from junk car or buy somewhere.

BUT the easiest thing to do is order a wiring harness that is already made up to do the conversion. Schosch (sp) or maybe metra makes one. Just buy it and put it between the radio and factory harness...easy. Makeing the harness isnt as easy but isnt that hard either. I have a link in one of my messages to the wiring of each radio that you would have to have in order to do the wiring...again I will say it is much easier to buy a harness already built to do this.

$300 was way too much for a factory bose cd player.
