Back to say what's up...

What's everybody?

I just thought I would drop by to say hello. For you newbies, I used to own this 94 Maxima (which should still be in my sig) until this past Dec 02. It died on me and I got a Lexus GS 300. I just want ya'll to know that I miss the hell out of my Maxima. I wish I would have NEVER sold it. I still haven't done anything to the Lexus except put the 4 12" subs that I had in the Maxima in to the Lexus. But other than that..Nothing.

Well, I got in here because I did a search on Google on my screen name sxwk12 just to what came up since i use the same screen name everywhere. Pretty interesting, you should do it with your screen name or even your real name.

Anyway, just dropped by to say hello.

Sidney

What happened to the Max? How did it die on you?

The computer went, the fuel injectors were bad, and some other minor things were wrong with it. The computer was forcing too much gas into the cylinders and causing it to smoke. When I sold it to this teenager, I told him what was wrong with it. But yet, he took it to the shop and they said it was the rings. I don't know if he got the rings replaced or not but I never see the car anymore. And this kid lives right down the street from me. It might still be sitting in his garage.

Well, what could you do to the Lexus? I have to admit that the only "mod" I have ever seen were aftermarket wheels. What else would you do to it?

As much as I like the GS 300 (what year is yours?), I have to admit that the Maxima is so much more fun. Especially the 5spd. Out of my two, I rather drive my SE than the GXE. However, the good thing about the GS is that it may never break down on you. Toyota is great for their reliabilty.
