Well I am worried about the joy of my life - my max

1990 GXE, and it has been shifting rough (automatic tranny) and I am worried about it going out. Just flushed the fluid (not just a drain from whats in the pan, and pump in new stuff, flush out all of it)

Read a few posts about a transmission cooler, from what I gather, basically a radiator that cools of my tranny fluid.

Here's my question.. any of you guys got them installed?? Performance any better? Tranny given you any probs?? Also I know a company called B&M makes them... where can I get a hold of one? Price?

Thanks for the feedback

my tranny wasn't doing too good so i had it flushed and then installed a B&M cooler...pretty much smooth as silk minus the slipping (she's dying a slow death) i think the cooler is preventing/slowing the death down...for 50 bucks it is well worth it...i got mine off of http://www.carparts.com and installed it myself...

cheap easy, and will save my tranny form slipping on hot days or long runs. easy to put on and logically seems like it works, jsut another radiator for your tranny. why not?
