I think that you should get it checked out at your local dealer have them run a diagnostic on your car. And you should replace the terminals.

sounds like the battery died on you (obviously).. it may or may not have been caused by the car.. most often, batteries explode when they get old because the starter has a hard time cranking over, so it draws a ton of current.. the acid in the battery boils, causing it to suddenly expand and explode...

I dunno how it cracked the battery connector, but it did..
you can buy new ones at most parts stores. the fun part is that our cars have all thsoe fusible links on them. I bought a connector from a car audio shop that has several 8 and 10 awg and a couple large holes for wires to connect to.. you can then screw most of them in individually to the battery connector.
the only drawback to that is that these connectors are about $20.

also, be sure to rinse out your engine bay VERY VERY well because the acid will eat the paint off your can and can damage wiring harnesses if it sits on there for long.
I would recommend having it checked out by a mechanic or dealer ASAP also... make sure no more damage was done.

(BTW, when you're done, either throw your clothes away, or wash them 2-3 times seperate from any other laundry.. then rinse out your washing machine with clean water. battery acid will eat holes in your clothing.)
Good luck!

From the sounds of that, it sounds like you burned up your fusible link that comes off the positive battery terminal. I did this back in December. Pull on it gently, it will likely come apart because it has "done it's job" and burned up. You can't miss the fusible link, it's right next to the main feed on the postive battery cable lead.

Ok heres what happened today

I go out this morning to put the battery in the car,it starts fine..but my rear lights don't work,my windows won't go down ,I cant take the car out of park without pressing the shift lock button, the interior lights dont work unless i mess with the negative wire, my uncle things the neg cable needs to be replaced,I think it has to do with the plug on the positive terminal that runs to the fuse box by the battery with wiper, rad fan 1,etc.. What do you guys think it could be and does anyone know about how much im out?

about the car not shifting and lights not working...I would check the fuse box first...I believe the fuse for the shifter lock solenoid is the same fuse for the radiator fan (fuse box located lower left-hand side of driver side). Not sure about the other ones. This also happened to me as well...couldn't shift unless the manual shift lock override was used. Good luck!
