Whats up, i was looking on ebay just to see what they had for 3rd gen maximas. And then i seen a picture euro tail lights for 92-98 bmw and they look like the same size and shape of the tailights that are used for 3rd gen maxima's. I was just wondering if these are able to be modified to fit a 93 maxima just like the e36 headlights for a maxima??

but seriously there is a 3rd gen in NY that has Altezza tails, but it doesn't look like a direct fit, maybe a little modding-->

yea his is nice. but he said that he got his from another country. I would tyr and do the mod only if i could get a refund if they didn't fit. I'm pretty sure that they could be modded to fit though.

 

another country?? um okay...they sell cheesy Euro tails everywhere, Ebays got millions of them. either way they'll take some body work to fit...the only prob is once you cut the car up to try to fit them there is no point in not going all the way cause the stockers probably won't fit anymore.

 

Yuck on both accounts. "euro" tails are ghey. it's not even a euro trend anyway, which makes it even more ghey.

 

F*ck it. i'm a just buy the lights and try to jam them in with no cutting. But i'm a do it with a set of bmw lights that i get from a junkyard just to see if they will fit. Actually i have no idea how to take the tailights off of a mam. Does anybody know?

 

Those are some ugly *** lights, never saw the big euro craze anyway.

i am glad someone spoke up about cheesy altezza style lights. i cannot stand that look. altezza style tails make the car look like a redneck wal-mart trinket. like a cracker jacks snack toy surprise. and, yes, i have bought things from wal-mart. like toothpaste and socks.

i would rather have scoobie-doo and unicorn-with-rainbow stickers all over my stock tails than spend hundreds on gaying it up with altezzas.

Just don't put them on, and people won't make fun of you for it. If you like them, then fine.. but you're not the one who has to look at them... it's the people behind you.. and if 99% of the other people out there say they're Fugly, then most likely the cops will say the same thing- especially since they're illegal to begin with.
