I am planning to swap in power seats, install dynamat, new carpet and recover the seats with a leather kit (after a trip to the body shop for extensive work, but thats a whole other thing.)

Was a power passenger seat available? How much $ for seats from the junkyard? Are kits from leatherseats.com good or do you know of something better? And finally should the carpeting (and dynamat) be done by a professional?

Thanks for any answers or info!

-Nolan

yes there is a power passenger seat available. my car has one, but it was the loaded show car at a minneapolis car show back in 89 and had all the options. so I cant tell you how many are available. not sure how much a seat would go for. over a 100 at least. i dont know anything about leatherseats.com. carpeting and dynomat isnt too hard as long as you have some experience.

leather seats

s company called Katskins.com..... the company is in Cali
they do all major manufacture's upgrade leather option... and they dont charge extra for a 2 tone color. u can have the seats stiched with the manufacture's logo and add seat heaters and a massager like the one in the s class benz
when i last check the skin was like only $700 bucks.. all u have to do is get someone to do it.... and if u DIY u need some special tools like a hog ring pliers... mine was done in vinyl i paid 800bucks just for the seats no doorpanels were done yet
