Couple Questions
#1
Well, my new 92 Black SE Max is sitting in my garage since I dont have insurance yet. Anyway, I got it checked out by a very good local shop and they said they heard odd engine nosies. Hmm... I haven't heard any and neither has anyone else that has checked it out. Something about one of the cams, any ideas? Ive been taking my cars there for years and they are the best place around. They don't deal with imports very well though. Second questions, I've got a FM Modulated CD Player that I would like to put in my new Max. Anyone have a link with pics of how to remove the dash to get to my stero and maybe some ideas on where to mount my changer. BTW, Im loving this car! My first car above 100 HP.
Thanks

the engine sound could be the VTC (variable timing) going bad; this is a very common problem for the VE engine; it's not all that bad
check out http://www.gen3.4mg.com in the library sectino for more info too; I've rewired mine to disable them and the ticking has stopped (that procedure is on my page too if you want to consider that)
as far as taking apart the dash to get to radio; it's on my page in how-to
cd-changer: glove box would be cool; you can look it, access it while driving, minimal wiring
trunk, under passenger seat, etc

good luck and enjoy your VE
