speedo

Can anyone tell me what 2k-2k5 rpm is = to in mph. I had my tranny replaced last year and my speed sensor is not working. I need to get this fixed asap I can't afford to have any speeding tickets especially when I have to drive thru a school zone everyday for work

Depends if you have overdrive on or not.

If you do then Fosgate Fan is probably about right, I think when I'm doing 65-70 it's around 2300-2500 RPM.

I think he's asking if he's at 2-2.5k in O/D or in 3rd with O/D off.

I think as long as you don't burn out in a school zone or anything you'll be fine, adn when u get ur sensor working...Train yourself to feel the speed...it comes in handy...

everyone on the org should make a time and place say a year from now, even if its just all us 3rd genners. to meet up at a track and all just chill. we drive up the night before chill at a hotel, off to the track in the moring, chill again - get some runs off and see whos got the fastest 3rd gen on the org. - id be down !

One thing you don't want is a ticket for speeding in a school zone. A few years ago, my mom was doing 40 down a road past a school. Turns out there was a cop sitting there and he busted her for it. Ticket was around 200 bucks, but they would not let her pay for it until she went to court and pleaded guilty!
