hats off to Matt93SE

matt,

your ground-wire kit is really great. it makes quite a difference. as we all know, the VG needs all the help it can get and you really helped me, dude. the subtle change is sweet and i have some life back in my mid-power band.

and it was a pleasure personally meeting with you, lordrandall and bryan. i learned a lot in the time we spoke. i will be in touch.

thank you, sir,

-chad

apologies to klown if bonz got too uptight. mr. groundwires works. whenever the kit is actually widely available, which it is not yet, i would recommend it. an extra couple of mr. horses is noticeable.

you guys are all fruitcakes!

Chad, it was a pleasure to work with you. Also, if you wouldn't mind, PM or email me your mailing address again so I can get those other parts out to you when I get home from Oklahoma on Sunday. The paper with your address has mysteriously dissappeared.
Thanks!

Matt, I'm a late-comer to this thread........would you please explain the purpose of the ground kit.........I haven't had any problems (that I'm aware of) on my '94 GXE that'd hint of a ground problem........

Click on the Search button up top. Matt has his own thread that he details the benefits of the ground kit, along with a few pictures. You can also purchase the whole tham ding from him.

I'd dig up the thread for you, but I figure that either you'll find it or that someone will post it for you.

They WERE only for VE because I didn't have a VG to make a set on. I used bonzelite's VG last week to make a set, and I've also got kits for both 4th and 5th gen VQ30. (yes, they're different).

see my other threads on "ground wires" in this forum and several others on the benefits of it.

mine only takes about half an hour to install with onle minimal tools. I did it with a 8,10, and 12mm socket and ratchet. that's it. tie it down with a few zip ties (included in the kit) and you're done!

well, he COULD.. but only for another day or so. drove up to Tulsa for a job interview today, and I'm going back either tomorrow or sunday. haven't decided yet. after that, it's back to Houston.

Bryan, bring me a Pathy and I'll put a set on for ya. If you want, find someone in the Houston area that's willing to drive to my house (Pearland, about 15 miles south of downtown), and i'll put a set on and only charge materials for the first kit...
