Ebay Amplifiers

I have been searching for a thread that talks about eBay amps and couldn't find any. I was wondering if amps, such as this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=18796, are good amps. If not where can I buy amps of such power without paying too much? Do you think that thess amps can output as much as they say it can?

All watts are not created equal.
Ask them about THD levels.
and then let me know what you think.
BTW I can get real amps with real watts at decent prices.
No they're not on my site
But the manufacturers are in my line card

I would recommend you try to stick with something you know or that has a good reputation. I think most of that kind of stuff on ebay is basically the same thing you'll get at the flea market/swap meet.

You might want to post some questions in the Audio/Electronics forum, you will probably get better results.

You might also try looking in the Electronics for sale forum. There are a lot of guys on there (or you can buy from internetautomart) that have good reputations selling audio equipment to .org members at a discount. I think Pearl96Max is considered one of the best sellers here for electronics. I am sure there are several others and I would trust most .org members over a lot of clowns hustling gear on ebay.

just my $.02

Anytime the seller can't spell "Chrome" and instead uses the word Crome you might be getting what you pay for

Maybe he was sniffing "crome" spray when he wrote the ad?
