Auto shifter lights out
#1
My shifter lights (P R D 2 1) are out. Using the shifter is like second nature to me but I hate for things not to work. Anyone ever changed the bulbs before? I only had time to look at the shifter assembly for a few minutes this morning and I couldn't figure it out.

30 seconds
pry off the cover around the shifter(work fromwhere the prnd21 light is)with a small driver, i just use my hand, just pull, then you will see the burnt out bulb it is small pull it out, match it up at the parts store and install the new one the same way it came out(also you might have the option of a diffrent color bulb, i dont know much about that but someone here does. p.s. be easy dont break it

the light is a 194 wedge bulb. just pry up the cover and loosen the 2 screws under it. swap the bulb..line it back up and screw it down.

Yes, what they said, but I think there are 4 screws that hold the shifting unit down. Pull up the unit a little bit, then there's a wire that goes into tthe back of the shifter. There should be a little round thing. Twist this and then pull. The bulb # is 194.
