Skyline Engine And Tranny

I was looking around on ebay, and someone had a skyline engine and tranny for sale. Im pretty sure you guys have already seen it, and I know this is probably a stupid question, but why can't you put the 92 r33 skyline twin turbo engine and tranny in one of our maxima's. Just curious because people have told me that it's possible, but I wanted to come on here with the devoted maxima owners and mechanic's and find out the real deal. Also, I know where they have a 96 maxima dohc motor for $400. I was thinking about getting that also, especially since they got turbo for it, but I heard that you will need the whole wiring harness. What is that? Im not sure what the whole wiring harness is, but I would like to know, and I would like to try and get it if I know what it is. I have a 92 gxe, A.K.A (The Slow Max). But I would really like some info and some feedback on this thread if you guys have a chance. Thanks, I will do anything to improve the performance of my car, and I don't wanna resort to buying another faster car. I wanna do work on this gxe, and make it run hard. Anyways thanks.Later

take a look at how your motor is mounted and then look at how the Skyline motor mounts....not trying to sound mean, but sometimes you guys need to THINK before you post.

If you don't know what a wiring harness is you are out of your league for even considering ANY sort of motor swap.

neither of those motor swaps would be cost efective or even posible for that matter unless you have atleast 10 grand on just labor

the only real option that you have would be a motor from a 85-91 300zx turbo vg30et

someone on here has done this but i dont know if he want a million questions to answer so his name will remain anonomous unless he posts
