HEater problems. Mine migh b diff than all yours...please help!!
how is going my brothers? ok technically im jus screwed for the winter. Before the snow dropped, i noticed my car would get warmed up, stay at the average temp of staying in the middle of the gauge needle. but when the heat was turned on....it was cold.....when i would floor it though....it would warm up. now when the snow kicked in, my car is overheating now. I CANT DRIVE MY BABY!!! is it my thermostat? what is it guys please help. we are talking about a 89 Max se....VG engine with like 140 k...any advice or any help u guys can offer, all will be appreciated. THANX AGAIN!

You don't think the snow is clogging up the radiator, do you? Or worse still... maybe the radiator might be frozen. You guys DID get dumped on, after all! Check your fluid levels first of all. I'm not thinking it's the thermostat, but that's always a possibility.

sounds like you were low on coolant, which caused the funky operation before...
then it froze when it got cold enough outside.. better wait till it thaws outside before you start the car again... or find a place VERY close by that has a heated garage or something to store the car overnight and let the system thaw out.
once you get it thawed, you can flush the cooling system and put new antifrreeze in it and you should be good to go.
