Fog lights (non-maxima)

Did anybody put fog lights in place of turn signals on a bumper ... and turn signals re-located to side marker?
There should be some low profile aftermarket fog-lights to fit in (I think).

Don't think so. I don't think it would actually look good either.

If you look on either side of the license plate, there are two rectangular holes. Foglights fit there, but I'm not sure what the heat effects would be.

I just asked if anybody attempted to put aftermarket low profile fog-lights in place of turn lights. In fact, I saw recently a pair of nice projector fog-lights (low profile), which might fit right in.

I wouldnt just because I wouldnt want to mess with the blinker. I could just see some accident happening where your not at fault, but by some stroke of bad luck they find out your stock blinkers have been removed and then they pin it on you. Unlikely yes, but I would be extremely ****ed if it did work.

ha-ha!!! that works 4 me - I own a lifted YJ ... just joking ... but I do own a lifted YJ

I'm sure it is still legal to have 'em this high.

Talking of turn lights re-locating. The only thing which is required - certification of the car (at least in canada). If it was certified with re-located turn lights - nobody can say you a word.

are the streets BFG aswell? All-Terrians?

I'm planning on 33" BFG Mud Terrians (KM) for the Durango in a few months, we've got All-Terrians on it now.

pictured ARE 33" BFG MTs and they are street ones
the reason why I don't drive my baby at winter time - front and rear are locked.

BTW, if you plan to buy a set of MTs, make sure you compare prices with this place (as far as I know, they got best package deals):

both are detroit lockers (front is true-trac but still not driveable at winter) with 4.56

Costco might have good deals too but not package deals (tires and wheels)

Get dual bulbed fog lights!
use one bulb for fog light and the other for signals!

unfortunately those are older pics on his site and I can't seem to find new ones. Pics wont really show you much though because he just put the foglight behind the clear housing so you can't really tell a difference besides the light output
