I think Im going to get a 4th gen. I have had 4 third gens and Im getting kinda bored. My third gen body style is definitely better looking than the 4th gen but I think I need a change and Im kinda tired of this 13 year old car eating my wallet. Im selling the 92SE if anyone is interested you can look at the FS listing here: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=269377

Thats like asking a parent who his favorite child is, of course the answer to either question is "the better looking one".

I am. Guess the 3rd gen wins.

I can answer that. Dmontz Believes the 3rd gen is better in every aspect, because if he doesn't I will call him a traitor, and that just cannot happen

Ummm.. WRONG!! the favorite child is the one that's behaving!
and some of us prefer performance to looks.
Image is NOTHING
Performance is EVERYTHING

no no no, with Dmontz, to find out his favorite car you must simply pit him with any california VQ guy. within the first 3 replys you will surely find his favorite car. (ok they dont have to be from california, those just happen to be the best fights)

yeah, and I started the engine. Luckily it was a VE because it starts quicker, has more authority, power, and a hell of alot more features, oh yeah, a bigger stroke too.

This whole 3rd vs. 4th thing is getting tired. I love the 3rd gen and would not trade one for a 4th gen, but a 5th gen is another story. I'll take a 2002 SE 5spd any day of the week.
