Do I have the Bose system?

Just a quickie question, becasue my passenger side speaker grille is just a plain grille, and the drivers side says bose. So obviously the previous owner was missing or some how or another it was switched. So now I am not sure if I have bose or not, basically the pics I have seen the stock head unit says bose right where the tape deck is... however my stock one does not say bose anywhere on the head unit. I have a 94 GXE. In the trunk there is only 1 amp on the drivers side rear speaker. So confused! Thanks in advance.

maybe your car was cut in half, pull the other door panel off and see what kind of speaker is back there, if its a 4x6 then its a non bose, if it a 4 and is i a heafty black case then it is bose. also if you have 6 and a half in the back it is non bose, 6x9s bose

It looks like you have bose on the driverside of the car only.

J/k I would say that you don't have the bose system and that the previous owner problem just replaced the driverside door panel at one point.

The Car does not have bose as evidenced by the single rear amp!

exactly. Like I said before, probably just had the driverside door panel replaced.

Check the speaker sizes, bose are 4 in the front and 6x9s in the back, also check if the back are bottom mounted...also check to see if theres a slot for an amp in the back

You should upgrade your speakers anyway. The bose system sounds nice but gives a lot of problem as time passes.
