Seat Removal

It's winter here in Iowa, and my car has gotten pretty dirty, and I've lost many a screw underneath my seats, can I remove them for a deep, deep clean? I wanna to scrub the carpets, is it possible, pics?

of coarse it possible

4 bolts and aplug and its out shouldnt take more that 2 minuites per seet

and for an interesting ride leave the bolts out and take it for a spin trust me youll respect the power of your car after every time you excelerate you get thrown into your backseat literaly

14mm...heck you can just about take the whole max apart with just a 10,12, and 14mm socket and screwdrivers.

Hey Craig,

Just curious, but is it necessary to reinstall the bolts using a specific torque setting or just as long as they're tight is good enough?

took my seat out today, brought it inside, cleaned the hell out of the plastic pieces, and vaccuumed underneath, and found the screws i needed! thanks for the help .org

for engine, suspension, or brake work, I'd recommend using a torque wrench to get the right settings, but I dont think it's that critical for an application like this - just make sure it's plenty tight
