Question is why ask this question when it's 20 deg F in January?

Good luck with this mod when the engine is warming up etc..

Yeah, it's one of those things that don't help at all. But it cheap and easy and makes you feel better. Well, the only reason I did it was b/c I know it won't hurt AT ALL, but in theory, it has to help.

I believe the reason Nissan flowed coolant through this was maybe to keep the plate from sticking in extreme cold weather? With all this discussion, everyone is going to do it and complain why they didn't feel an increase in power.

18*F last night (maybe colder) and because I was in the middle of taking my intake off.

Time to go get my gasket

yep im sure about it.
since you can run the timing a bit higher then normal and have slightly larger nutz in the same process.
im all for cheap power, you should know this by now
