Power Steering Pump Leak

Power Steering Pump Leak

I have a power steering pump leak. Everynight there is oil on the garage floor. When I crawl under car and look at pump it is covered with oil. I have a power steering pump repair kit containing washers and "O" rings.

I would welcome any comments and suggestion. I am going to take pump out to repair. I have replaced timing belt and the suggestions I got were life savers.

My power steering pump blew up on the highway last year along with the hydraulic hose. I knew it was going to go out soon because the squeaking and whining got progressively worse. Hopefully yours isn't as bad. Maybe it's just the hose.

Is it a bad pump or just the pressure hose?
