front drop only....

Since I haven't gotten my rear Tokicos yet, I only installed my front Eibach/Tokico setup. I have 4 stock 15" wheels, and I gotta say right now it looks very very even (with a slightly lower front end). Wheel gap wise its perfect, but I think the front of the car looks like its angled down alittle more than normal, I havent completely decided yet.

At first I missed my 4x4 gap, I still kind of do, but right now this setup is looking really really good (not the dragster look I thought it was going to be). Now I dont want to install the rear eibachs from a cosmetic standpoint, but people that know me know I dont really care too much about how my car looks (have only washed it once since I bought it ), and with how the front handling characteristics changed, I dont want to miss out on that.

I'll try to steal the digital camera so I can take pics of the car right now.

see your car looks even, but right now it seems like if i drop the rear it will look like its sagging in the back.

of course I'm going to drop the rear, this handling stuff is addicting

Do what I'm gonna do come springtime: buy some ST front springs from jcwhitney, and install them in the front so that the car will have ST fronts, Eibach rears, all with tokicos. That way you can have your cake and eat it too.

Ur fronts aren't fully dropped yet. It takes a week or so. They'll look nice and even after that and the rears.

I was thinking of putting the stock rears back on myself for just that reason. Now that I have a box in my car the rear really looks lower than the front. Also you notice more of a drop in the front than you do the rear once the suspension is changed. Check my homepage for b4/after pics.

Man if I were to lower my car, I'd have to replace my entire undercarriage.
I already hit the curbs as is (with the body)

Is it because of your system/box?

I only hear bad things about Tokico's like they go at low mileage. This summer I am swapping mine out for possibly some Koni's or Gr-2's

i think the tokicos are better quality and built for the lower suspension better than the GR-2's... however Koni's are the best, but who wants to spend that much money on a car thats 10+++ years old, get real =)

I was planning on doing the same thing - my front struts are gone, and a lowered system for the front would be a heck of alot cheaper than a new stock one. But this raises a question now - which brand will last as long as the stock ones are supposed to?

shugarhi, people spend big money on 40 year old cars. if you love the car, you love the car.

shawn, the rear will not look saggy. you know that already. go drop it!

I'm happy with the ride of the KYB-GR2. They've been on since May
