Car Alarm keeps going off!

Hi,
I have a 1990 Nissan Maxima (GXE) with a keyles entry keypad system.
For some reason the car alarm goes of on its own. I either have to unlock the car to put it off, or after sometime it stops ringing on its own. the alarm is becoming a nuisance in the neighborhood where i live.
Is there some way of reducing its sensitivity, or better yet just disconnecting it altogether?
Any info would be great...

Thanks
KL

I removed the fuse for the anti theft alarm, but it still keeps going off. Anything else that I can do?
Thanks...
