when the oe UDP is replaced w/ the high performance UDP.. is it still posiible to run a system or would a lightning cap be needed to run the system once the aftermarket UDP is implemented....

I think you only need a cap if the system is really big. With an under drive pulley I think our cars are putting out 60 amps??? at idle and more when revved. My civic only had a 60 amp alt and pushed 3 jl 12's w/ almost no dimming of my lights w/ everything else on. (not a really huge amp, but good enough)
BTW if you haven't already gotten a new UDP you should just buy a stock sized lightened one. Most of the power gain comes from the reduction in weight, not the underdriving.

thank alot man... where can i purchase a lightened UDP from? second thing regarding lights dimming... i already have that problem on occassion.. i have noticed that my lights get brighter when i give the car gas and i just bought a new battery the optima blue top for real cheap and it still dims every now and then... what can the problem be... thanks
