VG engine knock sensor
just the ve engines that i know of. if i drive a lot i notice a little bit of heat soak on mine, but nothing to worry about. when i first start driving my car my s-afc will read 0 on the knock but the longer i drive it will start raising a bit. when i did an 8 hour drive i think the highest it got was around 20 so its not all that bad. i think bad knock on the s-afc is in the hundreds. so, you shouldn't have to worry much around heat soak on the vg.
Thanks for the info that I was also interested in. I did a check on my VG knock sensor recently and found that it was sending clear signal at 11 years old and about 100k miles, but still was not sure if the problem applied to my car.
