Acc pulley and belt

Well, my car has been making some weird noise and come to find out it is my acc ideler pulley. Some how it is screwed up, so tomorrow I'm going to run by the nissan dealership and pick up a new one.

Well, tonight when I got off work, I started up my car and it started making this loud squealing noise, which finally went away after about 45 seconds, but was followed by a small clouds of smoke and the smell of rubber burning. So, I poped the hood and tried to see what was going on, but couldn't find anything with it being so dark out side. So, about 20 mins ago I poped the hood and took a look, and my acc idler pulley has stopped completely. The buring rubber I smelled was the belt running across the seized idler pulley. So, what should I do? I need to get to school and work tomorrow and the car runs fine, but I know my pulley is jacked up. Can I remove the acc belt and drive without it until I get time to replace the pulley.(and I guess belt now, just to be safe) Crazy thing is, that the car goes to the shop on Friday, to have the VTC's rebuilt. More money, more money, more money.

you can remove the belt and be okay. the water pump and power steering are driven by the same belt. mine snapped one day and it was fun getting back home.

I thought the water pump and power steering were the other two belts and the all ran off the crank shaft pulley? Crap, I'm all confused.

3 belts:
a/c
power steering/water pump
alternator

you might want to replace all the belts at once (if they look cracked or worn). i bought all three (O'Reilly) from autozone for ~$30.

1 piece of advice:
take the old pulley with you.
you can pick it up at most parts stores
along with the belts. I'm starting to like the goodyear belts myself
