If I were to paint my wheels.......

Im thinkin of paintin my wheels, and wanted to know a few things jus so i dont screw anything up. Would I be correct in assuming that the 92 SE OEM rims arent painted? And, would it be a good idea to sand the wheels before painting them just so I have a smooth surface? Thanks for the input...I was thinkin of silver just to get that OEM shine back, whatcha think bout the color?

the wheels were polished and clear coated. [ainting then will clean them up, but it will not bring back the oem shine without alot of muscle work. definately sand them before any sort of coating

Check the "painted wheels" thread on this page. I just posted the procedure I used when I painted both sets of my Maxima SE wheels.

Home-made pinstriping? What did he do, use a Sharpie and ruler?
