Where Can I Run A Wire Through The Firewall ?

I was going to drill a hole through the firewall below the brake booster so I can run a gauge wire from the battery but my friend told me there should be a hole in the firewall where I could just run some wire through and not have to risk drilling into something or mess it up in some way. Anybody ever done this successfully or find a opening to use ?

there is a grommet on the drivers side, inside the fender. you will have to remove splash guards to get to it.

i drilled me a lil hold right infront of and to the left of the gas pedal if you were looking at it from the inside then ran it under my center console, across to the DS underneath the carpet (under the seat) and then back to the trunk from there.

Do like Mr. Gone said. Take off the DS splash guard and poke a hole through the hood release cable seal. It'll run right through to the pedal area.

I drilled a hole in the space near the brake master cylinder, right above the little lip. I wish I would have known about the grommet in the fender before hand...

i drilled a hole too - powertools and me - bad idea - but it came out great. Just drill a hole - nothing going to happen, just make sure its clear of anything else on the other side.
O and one question do u have a security system if so who ever installed it prolly drilled a hole threw the firewall - so um u can pass the wire threw there.

As much as I like power tools, I dont like drilling on the car unless I have to. Plus going the route that vegan, rey, and I did it automatically hides the cable in the fender. I ran my 4gauge threw the hood release cable grommet without a problem and have run countless 8gauge wires threw, easy, fast, and best of all no drilling.

You know, I never thought about it. I just saw these and I liked them but's that's a very good point. I'll keep that in mind for the next set

They are completely blacked out??? wouldn't that take away the whole purpose of having the corner lights. And if you were gonna black 'em out, why did you get the clear corners instead of just using your factory lenses?
