Suspension...Need an opinion

Sup All...

Quick question. I am about to replace my suspension, and had a question. I don't want to give up my smooth ride, and wanted to know if I should go with a stock suspension, or get some Tokico Blue's?

I will be putting some 18" wheels on, and want to keep my smooth ride. I would hate to put some shocks/struts on that ride stiff.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thx

Going to 18" wheels alone is going to harden your ride noticably.

I guess I didn't mention that I had some 17's last summer, but wanted to upgrade. I didn't replace my suspension before that, so now I am looking to do that first.

Just wanted to see what advice others had to offer.

Thx

I really like the ride of my T. blues and Eibach. I can't compare to anything but stock but I think it is pretty smooth. I have 16 inch wheels.

18" wheels on a stock suspension is going to look pretty silly IMO

Putting 18's on your Maxima will noticeably harden your ride. However, the KYB's are slightly softer than the Toxico's. Just my five cents...

18s will automatically forfeit your "smooth" ride. But you have to lower it if you want the 18s to look right. I'd run s/t springs and maybe KYB struts/shocks.

The look will all depend on the tire dimensions. If it is a low profile, then yes, it may look kind of nasty. Trust me, I refuse to drive around with rims on my car with the front higher than the rear...See it all the time, pretty ugly!
