Hi all,
I just noticed that my A/C isn't working anymore. Was doing good last summer, fall and even some times this winter when it was not too cold. We had freezing weather recently so I didn't use it...

Started it up yesterday, no drop in the rpm, seems the compressor isn't starting, and the air is not cold at all. All the hoses should be ok. I cheked the fuse, ok.

I'm thinking maybe it's because there's not enough R12 in the system and the low pressure sensor is preventing the compressor from starting.

Big question : Is it possible to convert to the new gaz (94+) without replacing all the expensive hoses ??? simply changing the oil type in the system ?

all you need is to have your system evac first. then get the new fittings, install them and charge up with the new stuff and oil.
