rear wheel bearings?

Well I knew it was too good to last. I had exactly 10 days of perfect trouble-free, oil-leak-free driving with my new UDP, belts and crankshaft seal on and now it sounds like one of my rear wheel bearings is going out. (metallic whining, pitch changes slightly with velocity, nearly constant when wheel is rolling. Not affected by braking even with the parking break.) Anything else it could be that I am overlooking, and if it is the bearings, How hard is it to do? Anybody have step-by-step DIY procedure somewhere? Thanks guys.
BTW 93 VE w/ ABS.

Compared to the UDP install the wheel bearing is even easier,

jack it up
remove wheel
remove brake caliper
remove brake rotor
remove cotter pin from rear axle
remove axle nut
pull off hub
pull out old bearing (my 92 se uses sealed bearings)
put in the new one
assemble in reverse order

If its not a sealed bearing wash out the old grease and replace with fresh wheel bearing grease.
