RSB is making noise?

Hello All
I recently has the Addco RSB installed with the BlemCo links. I have since been hearing allot of noise from the back of the car. At first the link broke off so I had them wielded but I still get the noise? Upon closer investigation I noticed that there was VERY little space between the RSB and the spare tire well. I think that is what is making the noise. Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks

Gil

Yes. See the end links? You can adjust(ie. rotate the end link *L-bracket*) so the bar sits lower.

Maybe that's why the link broke in the first place because there was too much preload on the bar.

yeah, at stock length, they is no load on the bar until someone sits inside the car or hang a turn. preload loads the bar before any action and there for makes that side stiffer(good). but too much and the bar is so much stiffer than the car, bar comes off of car(bad)

Umm "preload"? How do you "preload" the bar? The swaybar functions by not letting itself be twisted. To "preload" the bar you would have to artifically "twist" the bar one way or another. That would be bad because that would make the car handle better going one way ie.. left but not the other ie.. right.

Well that did fix it. I added another 1/2 inch and the noise is gone.

Thanks for the help all.
