Actually....the wiring is already in there! It is under the carpeting. One New Zealander org member found that out while putting power seats in.
It is always easier for manufacturers to use standard electrical hookups instead of dealing with the complexities of two differently wired cars. Us MBA students refer to that as achieving "Economies of Scale".
BTW, you'll love the powers. Mine are factory, and I cannot imagine how I ever lived without them before I bought my Max!

yeah its in there. actually it should already be plugged up to your seats in a dummy socket. Just un hook them and put the power seats in and plug them up. I did this because I covered the power GXE seats I had and put them in my SE.
