The other day me n Turbo95Max were
messin around with the tranny in my
Max and found something weird... when
car is in Park, when you spin one wheel
the other spins the opposite direction.
I felt ripped off cuz i thought i had to LSD.
Then I got the bright idea to put the car into
Drive and guess what, the wheels start spinning
in the same direction. Wassup with that?
Does the LSD only start working when you're in gear?
I thought it would be an all the time kinda thing.

Ah well, whatever.

 

Nope, that's normal automatic tranny behavior. My '84 RWD Celica would do that (before I swapped it to manual, then the tires would go the same direction).

Only the 5spd SE's came with LSD :-)
