If the crank pulley is the "front" of the engine, then the 'right' exhaust manifold is the one closest to the front of the car. At any rate, Ebay, www.car-part.com and here on the org are all good places to find a replacement. I'd be willing to bet that the manifold cracked because an exhaust stud or two broke and so the manifold slowly warped, and then cracked over time. When you do this job, be sure to replace all the exhuast studs. Click this link to see how it's done. As for how hard the job is, the front side is usually ~3-4 hours and the rear can be more because it's more cramped.

Quick question. Should someone with no real experience under the hood try something like this? It sounds difficult and I need to know if it's worth it to do it myself. I have shop lifts and everything.

closest to the fire wall is the right manifold. to get it off you'll have to unbolt the y-pipe from it and then there are 6 nuts on the manifold itself that you have to remove. you need to be very careful when removing those nuts because the studs are very weak and can break very easily and that is expensive/hard to fix.
