19x8.5 rims on 3rd gen?

Will these fit without rubbing on Eibachs? What offset is perfect? I'm thinking of HP Lightnings. Anyone have pics. I need rims while I paint my SE wheels. Also, what springs and shocks are good with these 19x8.5s? What tire size?

you should be worrying about the clearance to the lower part of your strut housing. the tires need to clear that too. spacers should take care of that. perfect offset i believe is 35 mm.

i don' think 19's will look good on a 3rd gen. 18's would be better. IMO.

So 19s won't look good? Any pics of 19s?

Well I had to use spacers in the rear to mount my 17 x 7.5 wheels, so I am going to say you will have difficulty fitting an 8.5 wide wheel. I guarantee its possible and it will look good if you can get the car low enough.

IMO too, 19s may be too big. However, IIRC, Juan (shavedmax) has 19s on his max.

don't think that 8.5 would work...maybe 8 depending on your offset, why not 18's tho, cheaper and will probably look just as good. jus my 0.02

J/K, it sounded funny for like an hour, but now it just sounds cocky. offset is key to mounting any rim, try to fina a wheel calculator online, and compare how off the different offsets would be from stock
