axle question

hey guys when i make a left turn i hear a knocking noise, i think my boots are worn, can i just replace the boots or do i have to get a new axle, any help will do thanks

and if i have to replace, where is the cheapest place i can get it from,ex autozone

if it ticks the axle is bad and needs to be replaced

autozone is the cheapest from my understanding
