Blower
Blower
I know the stillen supercharger kit won't work on a VE, especially if you have ABS, but has anyone investigated the possibility of an Eaton or KenneBell screw type supercharger? It would be easy to package, easy to install and the low end would be brutal! Modifying or even creating a lower intake or adapter shouldn't be that hard, and there's enough variations of these blowers out there that one of them has got to work. Any thoughts?

I would love to see this happen but there are some big problems to overcome. THe major one of course it that the person that pioneers it has to have deep pockets. I would guess that it would cost in the neighborhood of 10 g's to get a completely finished, no problem supercharged VE into existance. Now I will be taking donations from the group and offer my car up as the test subject

it shouldn't take that much money to do. you should be able to find all of the nececities for pretty cheap, even the s/c. the most expensive parts would just be whatever pieces that need to be custom machined. those are what cost a lot but overall price shouldn't even excede a couple thousand if done properly.
