Driver Train Pulley? If you mean the idler pulley for the P/S- water pump belt, the thick washer and deep cover go on the inside, and the thin one and thin cover go on the out side. The bolt will only thread through one way. The threaded end should face outwards. Try geasing the bearing while you have it apart.

Too Tight? If you mean one of the belts is squealing, it's too loose. Push down on each of the belts and the one that has the most play is probably it.

Easy. Buy a new filter and pan gasket and find something big enough to hold the fluid. Unbolt the pan and drain the fluid. Replace the filter, clean out the pan, scrape the pan rails, and the tranny rails clean. Use a thin line of gasket goo to hold the gasket in place on the pan and replace. Check out a Haynes or Chiltons manual, or call the stealership to get the torque specs for the pan bolts. Fill the tranny untill it registers on the bottom of the dipstick. Start the car and let it warm up. Continue filling untill the dipstick registers full. Put your foot on the brake and run it through the gears a few times. Top up if needed. Cheers!

BTW: You WILL make a mess!

As far as the fluid change goes, it may help shifting a little. The bigggest benefit is prolonging the life of your tranny! If the fluid has never been changed, or it's brownish in colour and has a burnt smell, change it! Oh, yeah, they don't call them "Stealerships" for mothing!
