NEED HELP! Major trunk issues.

Hi, my trunk popper is broken and I accidentally locked my keys in my trunk. So, now I have absolutely no way to access my trunk without breaking the trunk door off. There is probably some way to get to it from the back seat but I don't know how, and I really need to get into my trunk as I left many personal belongings in it along with my keys. If anyone can give me specific directions, I would be much indebted. Thanks.

it'd be awesome if someone had a how-to on their site about removing the seats

once you got the rear seat back out, there will be a carpet material in the way but there are just a couple clips up top and in the middle that hold it in place, then you should be able to get enough room to reach in and get your keys

The bottom seat just pops out. It's kinda hooked in along the front bottom (three places - both sides and the middle), pull up and it'll pop up/out. Once you remove the bottom seat you can see the seat back is screwed in on the bottom of each side (near the doors). Unscrew these screws (they're Phillips head). Then the seat back is hooked in in three places along the top (into the package tray - again on both sides and the middle), you have to kind of grab/pull the seat up to pop those out.

And that's how you take the rear seat out, then you'll be able to get into the trunk

Pull the bottom section of the seat straight out. The upper portion you have to remover by unbolting it first and then pulling it out. There are four bolts hold it down. One on the lower left, one on the lower right, and 2 in the middle where the armrest is behind those lil black screw covers on that cardboard piece. Once you remove it push the cardboard piece down and push the carpet wall thats blocking the trunk area forward(there are 2 clips holding it so u can pop them right back in) and there you go. I just did it on saturday while installing neon tubes

I suppose I should be thankful that the New Zealand Max's have fold down rear seats for access to the trunk area.

I guess that's one good reason to move to New Zealand
Do you have any pics of how that seat works? I'd be interested in seeing that.
