Whats the deal with the Sprint lowering Springs? Does anyone know anything about them? Everyone on here seems to have the Intrax or Suspension tech. I would like to see some pics of what the car will look like with all the differant types of springs on it if it's not to much trouble. I have the eibachs now and I want to go lower that what it is.
Thanks,
Bigdog

How do you think these springs are for daily driving though? Especially if you have the 16in. 97+ SE rims and 205/60/16 tires? If you don't go as low as yours, what's the next suggestion?

if you dont want to go as low as intrax/sprint, next lowest is suspension tech at 1.5 inches i think.

Try here-->

not sure if this is where Max91 got his, but IMPACT Parts they should have them advertised on the first page on the left side of the screen for $100. anytime you lower the car with "sport" suspension you will notice a change in ride quality from GOOD stock suspension setup.

Yeah, that's an ok deal, too. But isn't Impact selling them for $137 shipped? Either one is a good deal though.

I have 9 month old STOCK struts and want to lower the car ..

as low as possible and TRY to maintain stock comparable RIDE..

I noticed you have SPRING springs with STOCK struts..

how is the ride quality ? does the car handle better?

do you still have that crazy body roll on turns ??

Thanks for the info!
I want to get SPRING springs, know where I can get a good deal??

Re: max91se.... old post !

at least get new KYB struts, but yo can go on the stocks for a while, but just get some new struts while the suspension is off and kill two birds with one stone! if you want comfort...then don't get anything lower than Eibachs...anyhting under 1.5" will make the ride MORE harsh! you have to make a sacrafice though...looks or comfort, kow what I'm saying?? my body roll was reduced significantly reduced and I noticed the ability to take corners at much higher speed than stock(probably because of the lower stnce of the car)..... www.impactparts.com has Sprints for $145 shipped!

Okay... first off... Since I have personal experience with the Intrax and Tokico set up. I will let you know what I think... IMHO...

If you like the stock ride and want it lowered for looks, but now performance, please, get the eibachs... I would say that I would love to have the eibachs now... my intrax set up is super rigid and you feel EVERYTHING... But... if you want performance and looks... Like I do for autocrossing and better lauches at the strip... look into the intrax.... in my opinion... anything lower then the intrax is asking for trouble on your underbody... I scrape all over the place with people in my car, sometimes when I am just alone too... and my Greddy hates me for it... the end of the tip is gettin' all dinged up...

but... the performance is definitely there..

OH... AND PLEASE DON'T USE YOUR STOCK STRUTS.... however good the stockers are, they weren't meant for the pressure you are introducing with a 1.9 inch drop. they will eventually blow...

and don't worry about the Tokico's for the third Gens... they are properly valved, and are generally a much better match for our cars then for the fourth gens... but of course they can get the KYB AGX's...

I really want those struts...

sprints & stock struts

I have Sprints that I got for around $137 from ImpactParts.com and I love the way it looks. I will be replacing the stock struts soon with KYB GR-2's to at least get something better under there, but the stock ones have held up pretty well. There is beginning to be more bouncyness in the suspension after going over bumps after 3 months.
