Where are you getting these white faces from? If they are overlays, there is a greater chance of messing up your gauges since I understand that the process is kinda complicated with the needles and stuff. On the other hand, if you're getting the whole cluster or the gauges from an SE, then the whole process is pretty straightforward. You just need a screwdriver and patience (takes around 45 minutes to an hour if you're doing this for the first time).

Acutally, Isaacm (I think) has a GXE and replaced his cluster with one from a 92-4 SE, and he said that the numbers worked fine. So I guess it will work out. I just happened to luck out with 89 gauges which go up to 125, so I didn't have to worry about that.

When you take apart the cluster, there are three guages: speedometer, tachometer, and the gas/temperature. The odometer is separate but is plugged into the speedometer in order to get the correct miles. It is easy to unscrew them all. Does that help?
